Introduction

The TIP2955 is a PNP power transistor designed for use in linear amplification, audio power stages, and high-current switching circuits. It is the complementary pair of the TIP3055 NPN transistor, and together they are widely used in push-pull amplifier configurations and high-power driver stages. With a collector current rating of 15A and a collector-emitter voltage of 60V, the TIP2955 is capable of handling heavy loads while maintaining reliability.
